Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an operations leader to direct delivery activities, oversee safety, and lead a team of supervisors and drivers. You will drive expense and revenue management and ensure regulatory compliance across DOT and OSHA standards.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with Sales/Marketing, and a focus on KPI attainment and customer satisfaction. A Bachelor's degree and CDL credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7 years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid Class A CDL meeting company standards.
• HazMat and Doubles Certification.
• Defensive driving program completed.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors and staff.
• Ensure management staff run day-to-day delivery activities and SOP adherence.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and related regulations.
• Direct labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget.
• Prepare work schedules and shifts as needed.
• Coordinate repairs and asset utilization for delivery.
• Monitor KPI and customer satisfaction goals and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to resolve issues.
• Visit customer locations to address delivery challenges.
• Oversee productivity and routing software systems.
