Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee delivery staff and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations. You will manage schedules, budgets, and teamwork while coordinating with Sales and Marketing to address customer delivery issues.

The role requires ongoing adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, plus leadership in a fast-paced environment. A CDL and HazMat credentials are preferred, with a high school diploma or GED as a minimum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Business/Management preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience in delivery supervision or operations.
• Defensive driving and HazMat certifications are preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations and maintain logs.
• Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepare schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer or delivery issues.
• Recruit, train and evaluate delivery staff; enforce company policies.
