Job summary

Foundation Finance Company seeks an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency in line with policy. This role handles complex account questions from the service team.

Responsible for outbound calls, processing on-line payments, and providing options to hardship cases while documenting activity and maintaining accuracy under deadlines. Office-based role with regular shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy.
• Strong typing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over the phone payments, including credit card transactions.
• Provide relief options to customers in hardship per policies.
• Relay information to customers about interest, statements, and other questions.
• Assist with overflow calls (disputes, recovery, first pay, bankruptcy).
• Document notes per company processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Must come to work promptly and regularly.

• Must concentrate and perform accurately.
