Job summary

Foundation Finance Company LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquencies per policy. You will handle complex inquiries and coordinate with the customer service team to determine best resolution actions.

The role requires processing phone payments, researching delinquent accounts, and providing hardship relief options while maintaining accurate notes and adapting to change. Evening and Saturday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant applicable experience, preferably in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong typing skills.
• Two evening shifts per week (12pm-9pm CST) and (10am-7pm CST) plus one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assess past due accounts and contact customers to attempt resolution according to company policy.
• Handle more complex account questions directed from customer service and other representatives.
• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency; research delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions, aiming for one-call resolutions.
• Provide relief options to customers experiencing hardships per policy; relay information on interest, statements, and other account questions.
• Document notes in required systems and adapt to changes productively.
