Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts, contact customers, and resolve delinquencies per policy. You’ll handle complex questions from the service team, perform outbound calls, and process over-the-phone payments, while documenting activity and adapting to new processes.

The role emphasizes strong communication, typing, and computer skills, with a two-evening plus occasional Saturday shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year experience in customer service or collections preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet and email.
• Professional phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve per policy.
• Handle more complex account questions from customer service and others.
• Make outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent accounts and determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments including credit card transactions.
• Provide relief options to customers in hardship per policy.
• Relay information on interest, statements, and account questions.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes per company processes and procedures.
• Adapt to changes productively.
• Shift schedule includes two evenings per week and one Saturday every 5 weeks.
