Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with customer needs. You will work with Applications Engineering to support acquisition stakeholders, perform demonstrations, and guide technical roadmaps for strategic field deployments.

You’ll travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs, contributing to multi-domain, tactical edge solutions while collaborating with BD, engineering, and program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a C5ISR-related field with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux, or scripting (Python, C++).
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to radio solutions.
• Lead field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations with engineering teams.
• Demonstrate interoperability and low-signature performance of StreamCaster radios.
• Support Business Development with technical inputs and roadmapping.
• Prepare technical demos for USSOCOM components including SOF and PEO-SOF Digital Applications.
