Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silvus Technologies seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF engineering with USSOCOM customer requirements. You will work with Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate capabilities, field-readiness, and low-signature performance across multi-domain environments.

This role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites and research labs, with a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Security clearance: active SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps and mapping needs to radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and live field trials.
• Coordinate with BD to align technical work with strategic priorities.
• Contribute to technical demos and customer-facing presentations for USSOCOM.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites, labs, and field tests.
