Job summary

Motorola Solutions, including its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM. You will bridge RF capabilities with special operations requirements, supporting field trials and demonstrations across multi-domain environments.

Travel up to 50% and potential for fully remote work depending on location. You will work with engineering and business development teams to ensure technical readiness, interoperability, and a solid product roadmap for tactical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in defense/tech roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and BD to support technical needs and roadmaps.
• Present technical demonstrations tailored to low-signature, resilient edge ops.
