Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with AF customer requirements. You’ll support field tests, demos, and technology demonstrations across airborne and expeditionary networks.

You will collaborate with engineering and business development teams, travel up to 50%, and help translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs, driving strategic priorities in a remote-capable role.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience; OR HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant tech/defense experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical comms systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Understanding of DoD procurement pathways and network modernization priorities.

Mansioni

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to benchmark data and verify architectures.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development to support technical needs and priorities.
• Build and present demos for airborne and expeditionary networking needs.
• Perform market research on potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with Air Force program offices and labs to gather field feedback and translate to product roadmap inputs.
• Travel 50% to customer sites, labs, and field test environments.
