Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Air Force requirements. You will support field tests, system demonstrations, and partnerships across airborne, tactical edge, and expeditionary networks.

The role may involve up to 50% travel and offers a remote work option depending on location, enabling collaboration with engineering and defense customers to shape future networking solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in relevant roles; or HS diploma with 5+ years defense/technical experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing or tactical comms systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Mansioni

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials for air-force-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to verify architectures with testing data.
• Coordinate with Business Development to align technical needs with strategic priorities.
• Prepare and present technical demos for airborne, edge, and base networking needs.
• Conduct market research on potential integrations with industry partners and end-to-end networks.
