Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with DoD needs. This role involves supporting field tests, demonstrations, and architecture validation across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

The position requires up to 50% travel and offers a 100% remote option depending on location, with a focus on advancing tactical radio solutions and program engagement with Air Force

Competenze

• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Assist in analyzing US Air Force operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Applications Engineering team to verify proposed architectures are sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Assist in building technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networking needs.
