Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to blend RF capabilities with AF requirements. You will support field demonstrations across airborne and expeditionary networks, collaborating with engineering and business development teams to ensure interoperability and field-readiness.

You will travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements, with remote work options depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or defense technology roles; OR HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communications systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.
• Knowledge of Department of the Air Force procurement pathways and related programs.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, or scripting languages (Python, C++) for test automation.

Mansioni

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to leverage testing data and verify architectures.
• Work with Business Development to align technical needs with strategic priorities.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demos for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networks.
• Conduct market research for integrations with industry partners and test end-to-end networks.
• Engage with Air Force program leads and stakeholders to translate requirements into roadmap inputs.
