Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USAF requirements. You’ll support field trials, interoperability demonstrations, and strategic engagements with Air Force stakeholders.

You will travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagement, while remote work is possible depending on location. A background in RF, SDRs, and defense tech is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios, IP-based routing, or tactical comms.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure, and run field trials and evaluations.
• Benchmark architectures with the team to ensure technical soundness.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and engage DoD stakeholders.
