Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Business Development Engineer for US Air Force programs, bridging RF capabilities with DoD requirements. You’ll support field tests, demonstrations, and technical planning across airborne and expeditionary networks, traveling up to 50% while working with the Applications Engineering team.

You will collaborate to translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs, ensure architectural soundness, and engage with DoD stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech, or HS Diploma with 5+ years experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• RF test equipment familiarity (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze USAF operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to ensure architectures are technically sound through benchmarking.
• Support BD with technical needs and align work to strategic priorities.
• Build and present demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and testing data.
• Identify potential integrations with industry partners and test end-to-end architectures.
• Gather field feedback to influence product roadmaps and track progress.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
