Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements. You will support field trials, technical demonstrations, and strategic engagements across airborne, edge, and expeditionary environments.

The role involves up to 50% travel, remote work options depending on location, and close collaboration with Engineering and BD teams to translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering with 2–5 years of related defense/tech experience.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• Ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance within 15 months.
• U.S. citizen; background check and drug test required.
• Willing to travel up to 50% for field tests.

Mansioni

• Assist in analyzing USAF priorities and map requirements to solutions.
• Lead field trial planning, configuration, and evaluations.
• Prepare technical demos for airborne and edge networking.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with BD to align with strategic priorities.
• Gather field feedback to influence the product roadmap.
