Job summary

Hire Consulting Services in Connecticut seeks two Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers to support Lead Unit Managers in daily care delivery, clinical documentation, and unit workflows across two resident units. This is a dual clinical-administrative leadership role, Monday through Friday daytime schedule.

Ideal candidates are experienced LTC RNs with strong EMR skills (PointClickCare), supervisory experience, and excellent communication with physicians, families, and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license required.
• 2–3 years nursing in SNF/LTC with supervisory/desk nurse experience.
• Strong organizational multitasking and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations and shift reports with Lead Unit Manager.
• Review and reconcile physician orders, labs, and pharmacy profiles.
• Liaise with physicians, therapy teams, families, and nursing staff on care plans.
• Assist with resident assessments, care plan updates, and discharge prep.
• Provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on clinical standards.
• Maintain EMR documentation in line with DP Health regulations.
