Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking two Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers in Connecticut to partner with Lead Unit Managers on unit operations, clinical documentation, and order processing.

These full-time, on-site roles Monday through Friday daytime shifts require CT RN license and LTC leadership experience; you will coach staff, ensure EMR accuracy, and uphold regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years SNF/LTC nursing with supervisory/desk nurse experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with EMR systems (PointClickCare) for care planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations, shift reports, and nursing workflows across two units.
• Review and reconcile physician orders, labs, and diagnostics for timely care.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and nursing staff.
• Assist with resident assessments, care plans, and discharge prep.
• Guide floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with clinical standards and documentation.
• Maintain EMR documentation in compliance with DPH and QA benchmarks.
