Unknown is seeking two collaborative Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers in Connecticut to work with the Lead Unit Manager on two LTC units. This daytime, Monday–Friday role blends clinical leadership with administrative oversight, ensuring smooth unit operations and patient care delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, reviewing orders, and maintaining EMR accuracy (PointClickCare). Requires CT RN license and 2–3 years in SNF/LTC with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Connecticut is required.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC settings with supervisory or desk nurse experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate care plans, orders, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations with the Lead Unit Manager for two units.
• Review and reconcile physician orders, labs, diagnostics, and pharmacy profiles.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and nursing staff.
• Assist with resident assessments, care plans, and discharge preparation.
• Coach floor staff on clinical standards; ensure accurate EMR documentation.
