Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners seeks two Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers for a Connecticut senior healthcare organization. You will partner with Lead Unit Managers to oversee daily care delivery, clinical documentation, physician orders, and unit workflows across designated resident units.

The role blends clinical nursing with administrative leadership, Monday–Friday daytime schedule, with opportunities for mentoring and coaching of floor RNs/LPNs/CNAs, while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Active, Connecticut RN license required.
• 2–3 years in SNF/LTC with supervisory/desk nurse experience.
• Strong organizational multitasking and attention to detail.
• EMR proficiency for care planning, orders, and audits.
• Excellent communication with physicians, leadership, and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations with Lead Unit Manager across two units.
• Review, process, and reconcile physician orders, labs, and pharmacy profiles.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and nursing staff.
• Assist with resident assessments, care planning updates, and discharge prep.
• Guide floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; provide coaching and documentation support.
• Maintain EMR documentation in compliance with DPH and QAPI.
