Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking two Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers in Connecticut to partner with Lead Unit Managers. You will oversee daily care delivery, clinical documentation, and unit workflows across designated resident units in a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership in a long-term care environment, with duties ranging from order processing to family communication and quality oversight.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC with supervisory or desk nurse responsibilities
• Proficiency with EMR systems (PointClickCare) for care planning and orders
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and detail-orientation
• Excellent communication with physicians, staff, and families

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations and shift reports with Lead Unit Manager
• Review and process physician orders, labs, and pharmacy profiles
• Serve as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and floor staff
• Assist with resident assessments, care plan updates, and discharge prep
• Provide coaching and guidance to RNs, LPNs, CNAs on the floor
• Ensure EMR documentation complies with DPHP requirements and internal QA benchmarks
