Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Connecticut is seeking two daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers to partner closely with the Lead Unit Manager. You will oversee daily care delivery, clinical documentation, and unit workflows across two resident units, Monday–Friday days, on-site.

The role combines clinical leadership with administrative duties, requiring an active CT RN license and LTC supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Connecticut (RN)
• 2–3 years supervising or leading nursing staff in a SNF/LTC
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High proficiency with EMR systems for care planning and orders
• Excellent communication with physicians, leadership, and families

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations with the Lead Unit Manager and oversee clinical nursing workflows across two units.
• Review, process, and reconcile physician orders, lab results, and pharmacy profiles; ensure rapid clinical execution.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, therapy teams, families, and floor staff to align resident care plans.
• Assist with comprehensive resident assessments, care plan updates, and family communications; prepare for hospital discharge.
• Provide coaching and guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; support staff performance and documentation.
• Maintain EMR documentation standards in line with CT DPH regulations and internal QAPI benchmarks
