Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC in Connecticut seeks two Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers to partner with Lead Unit Managers, overseeing daily care delivery, documentation, orders, and unit workflows across two resident units.

This clinical-administrative leadership role targets experienced LTC RNs, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, on-site collaboration with physicians and floor staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut required.
• 2–3 years SNF/LTC nursing with supervisory/desk/unit leadership experience.
• Strong organizational multitasking and detail orientation.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (PointClickCare) for care planning and orders.
• Excellent communication with physicians, leadership, nursing teams, and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations and nursing workflows across two units.
• Process and reconcile physician orders, labs, diagnostics, and pharmacy profiles.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and staff.
• Assist with resident assessments, care planning updates, and discharge prep.
• Provide coaching and guidance to RNs, LPNs, CNAs; ensure compliance.
• Maintain EMR documentation to meet DPH and QAPI standards.
