Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for data center projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Operations staff, ensuring clear, timely communication.

The role requires budgeting, scheduling, and master development planning across campus sites, entitlements, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, CM@R, and Design Build.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for executive program updates and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects with budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly program updates for executive reviews.
• Develop master development program for site(s) including budget and design solution.
• Review and manage entitlement and permitting needs; oversee procurement and cost estimates.
