Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for data center projects. You will manage budgets, schedules and status reports while coordinating with Facilities, design teams, vendors and operations staff to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction with CMAR or Design-Build, plus strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for executive updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of construction management experience with Lump Sum, CMAR, or Design-Build.
• Proficient in PowerPoint for executive program updates and Excel for budgets.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules and status reports for multiple campuses.
• Prepare monthly executive updates on development program and status.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Vendors.
• Develop master development programs and capital budgets for sites.
• Oversee entitlements, permitting and site development plans.
• Review pay applications and change orders with contractors.
• Collaborate with procurement on equipment and delivery processes.
