Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction, and construction for multiple campus projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations to maintain budgets, schedules, and successful delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction, experience with design-build delivery, and strong communication skills for executive updates. Occasional travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Lump Sum, CM@R, and Design Build project delivery.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint for exec updates; Excel for budgets).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create monthly updates for executive reviews and decision making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a master development program for sites.
• Oversee entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
• Coordinate with procurement on equipment and cost estimates.
