Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities across assigned data center projects. You will collaborate daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors and Data Center Operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction, experience with various delivery methods, and strong communication skills for executive updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices
• Experience with Lump Sum, CM@Risk and Design-Build project delivery methods
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with updated budgets and schedules
• Create monthly executive updates on development program status
• Develop master development programs and capital budgets for sites
• Oversee entitlement and permitting needs for sites
• Coordinate with procurement on equipment delivery
• Lead site development plans to meet time, budget, quality targets
