Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for data center campuses. You will collaborate with Facilities, Contractors, Engineers and Sales to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and developing master development plans, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and providing executive updates. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with MS Office and presenting program updates to executives.
• Travel willingness for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for projects.
• Maintain budgets, schedules and status reports for each campus.
• Prepare executive updates and presentations to aid decision making.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations.
• Manage entitlements and permitting for site projects.
• Develop plans for site development and master campus design.
