Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction MEPR) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for multi-campus projects. You will interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Operations staff, communicating effectively to drive project success.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Science/Engineering and 5+ years in commercial construction, with CM@Risk and Design-Build experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Lump Sum, CM@Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the business.
• Experience with delivery of mission critical data center facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple campuses.
• Create executive-level program updates for decision making.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop master development programs.
• Manage entitlement and permitting for assigned sites.
• Develop site plans and coordinate procurement and cost estimates.
