Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work alongside senior project managers, preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, and coordinating design and construction teams to ensure governance and successful turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams; maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site and ensure successful project turnover.

Education

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience

CMIT/EIT preferred (Construction Manager in Training; Engineer-in-Training)
