Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support data center programs across the United States. The role involves working with senior project managers on pre-design through turnover, coordinating design and construction teams, and maintaining governance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will be mentored toward becoming a Project Manager, gaining experience in RFP processes, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance and reporting.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site.
• Ensure successful project turnover.
