Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work closely with senior project managers on all facets of project management, including preparing RFPs, proposals, contract negotiations, and coordinating design and construction activities.

The role emphasizes governance, site QA, and turnover. You will be mentored toward becoming a Project Manager while growing in a fast-paced environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in all aspects of project management.
• Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams and maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site and ensure successful project turnover.
• Progress toward becoming a full Project Manager.
