Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its data center team in the United States. You will work closely with senior project managers on all facets of project management, including RFPs, proposals, contracts, and coordinating design and construction activities.

You will mentor as you progress toward becoming a Project Manager, with a focus on organization, accountability, and transparent governance on a complex program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in all aspects of project management.
• Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams and maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site and ensure successful project turnover.
