Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our data center team. You will work side-by-side with senior project managers on RFPs, proposals, contracts, and coordinating design and construction teams, ensuring governance and quality control at site.

You will be mentored toward becoming a Project Manager, applying organization, accountability, and collaboration to deliver complex programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in design/construction disciplines.
• At least 2 years of experience on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction delivery systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, and negotiating contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams; maintain project governance and site quality control.
• Support program turnover and mentor toward becoming a Project Manager.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline
