Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. The role involves working alongside senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, and coordinating design and construction teams.

Your path will include governance, field quality control, and day-to-day learning as you progress toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams and maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site.
• Ensure successful project turnover.
