Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. This role supports senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, and ensuring successful project turnover.

Based anywhere in the United States, ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office, you will be mentored as you progress toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams and ensure project governance and successful turnover.
