Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the data center team. You will work closely with senior project managers across project phases, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, and maintaining governance to ensure successful project turnover.

You will be mentored in more complex aspects of project management and building relationships while growing towards a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams, maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site.
• Support ensuring successful project turnover and mentorship toward becoming a Project Manager.
