Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, and ensuring successful project turnover.

You will be mentored toward becoming a Project Manager, expanding your education and experience in a fast‑paced environment while delivering complex programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams, maintain project governance and ensure successful project turnover.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and mentor toward becoming a Project Manager.
