Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking an Account Executive to proactively network, cold call, and sell cybersecurity solutions to C-suite stakeholders. You will manage client relationships with a consultative approach aligned to their goals.

The role requires 5+ years in IT outside sales, strong Salesforce experience, and a proven ability to exceed targets. Up to 25% travel and remote work are supported with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in IT (information security preferred).
• Strong established relationships with key accounts in the territory.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
• Strong group presentation skills.
• Proven history of exceeding sales goals and generating leads.
• Demonstrated ability for lead generation and opening new accounts.
• Willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales and profitability goals.
• Position, configure and quote product and service solutions.
• Participate in industry organizations.
• Manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce and other CRM tools.
• Report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
• Create, edit and close services proposals.
• Position vendors’ technologies and articulate their value to clients.
• Conduct field marketing activities and drive attendance to events.
• Represent GuidePoint Consultants to clients and articulate areas of expertise.
• Set expectations and maintain communication with clients and vendors.
