Ashley Furniture is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador in our retail stores. You will greet customers, handle orders, manage accounts, and support store operations with a range of administrative tasks.

The role requires a 1-year customer service background, strong MS Office skills, and flexibility for weekend shifts. Join us to contribute to exceptional service, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the sales team.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; rotations for store opening/closing.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet customers in a warm, professional manner.
• Sales Order Support: Process sales orders accurately and obtain final approvals.
• Customer Account Management: Process credit applications and maintain account information.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Follow cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Address inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: Support audits and inventory processes with documentation.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work with sales and merchandising teams for seamless operations.
• Technology & Systems: Use POS, retail software, and MS Office to perform duties.
