Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador, delivering exceptional service and supporting store operations. You will greet customers, assist with office functions, and help maintain customer relationships to drive retail success.

Responsibilities include processing sales orders, managing accounts, handling cash, resolving customer issues, and collaborating with team members using POS and retail software.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: greet customers warmly and handle in-person, phone, and email inquiries.
• Sales Order Support: process orders with proper approvals and documentation.
• Customer Account Management: manage credit applications and financing arrangements.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: follow cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions.
• Customer Issue Resolution: address inquiries, escalate when needed, and follow up for resolution.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: support audits and verify paperwork accuracy.
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain records and file sales and office paperwork.
• Team Collaboration: work with sales, merchandising, and store staff for seamless service.
• Technology & Systems: use POS, retail software, and Office suite to perform duties.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
