Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet customers, process sales orders, manage accounts, and assist with store operations. You’ll handle payments, support financing, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service or administrative experience, are 18+, and can work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and professionally; handle in-person, phone, and email communications.
• Sales Order Support: Process sales orders accurately with required documentation and approvals.
• Customer Account Management: Manage customer credit applications and financing arrangements; maintain account information.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Follow cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions under supervision.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Address inquiries and escalate complex issues when needed; follow up for resolution.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: Support audits, inventory processes, and documentation accuracy.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and prepare routine reports per standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work with sales, merchandising, and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
