Ashley Furniture in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the front-line ambassador for our stores. You will assist with customer interactions, orders, accounts, and cash handling, while supporting store operations.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, processing sales orders, and maintaining accurate records. A friendly, team-oriented candidate with MS Office proficiency will thrive in our expanding network.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities - various shifts.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet customers professionally and provide excellent service in-person, on the phone, and via email.
• Sales Order Support: Assist with processing sales orders accurately and obtain necessary approvals.
• Customer Account Management: Handle credit applications, financing arrangements, and maintain accounts.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Process payments and reconcile transactions under supervision.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Address inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: Support audits and inventory processes with proper documentation.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work with sales, merchandising, and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Technology & Systems: Use POS, management software, and MS Office to perform duties.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
