Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador, delivering exceptional service and assisting with store operations. You will greet customers, process sales orders, manage accounts and support cash handling while collaborating with the sales team.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and systems transactions.
• 1 year of customer service/office/administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays; rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person, by phone and email with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Assist with processing sales orders accurately and obtain necessary approvals.
• Manage customer accounts and credit applications; assist with financing arrangements.
• Follow cash handling procedures, process payments, and reconcile transactions.
• Address customer inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed while ensuring follow-up.
• Support audits, inventory processes, and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare routine reports for store operations.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize POS, retail management software and MS Office to perform duties.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.
