Job summary

Bridor is seeking a Market Operator Specialist / Sales to drive growth across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The role blends culinary insight with targeted sales and business development, expanding market share for artisan breads and pastries.

You will cultivate relationships with coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and colleges, travel up to 60% for client visits and events, and work toward a future Regional Sales Manager position in a growing premium bakery brand.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive sales experience in specialty food distribution or pastry chef background
• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Sales strategy development: Partner with sales and marketing to develop and execute sales strategies
• Identify markets, customer segments, and distribution channels to increase sales and market penetration
• Stay informed on culinary trends and flavor profiles to keep offerings competitive
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers and conduct tastings, demonstrations, and presentations
• New business development: Identify opportunities with restaurants, cafés, hotels, catering companies, cruise lines, and retailers
• Sales support and training: Respond to inquiries, conduct product training, and share pastry techniques to support the sales team
