Job summary

Bridor North America is seeking a Market Operator Specialist / Sales – Culinary Enthusiast to grow our artisan breads and pastries in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. You will cultivate key accounts, build relationships with coffee shops, bakeries, and foodservice operators, and drive revenue growth.

The role blends pastry know-how with sales acumen, offering opportunities for advancement to a Regional Sales Manager.

Qualifications

2–5 years of progressive sales experience in specialty food distribution or experience as a pastry chef.
Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
Passion for the food industry and a strong drive to succeed and make an impact.
Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Creativity in pastry design, flavor development, and product presentation.
Knowledge of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis.
Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, and culinary teams.
Willingness to travel up to 60% for client visits, trade shows, and food events.

Responsibilities

Sales strategy development with sales and marketing to develop and execute plans.
Identify markets, customer segments, and channels to increase sales and market share.
Stay informed on culinary trends to keep offerings competitive.
Build and nurture relationships with customers and conduct tastings and presentations.
