Summit, a brand of Elior North America, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility in Bristol, FL. You will coordinate and supervise staff to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role emphasizes training staff, food preparation from scratch, portion control, sanitation, and meeting high standards for meals served to inmates. Strong leadership and multitasking in a high-volume environment are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
