Job summary

Summit, a brand of Elior North America, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in Stafford, VA. You will coordinate and supervise a team to ensure efficient service and adherence to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will train staff in food service and sanitation, ensure meals begin on time, and guarantee proper portioning, appearance and temperature of all items, while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume setting with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing guidance to staff.
