Job summary

Summit is seeking a Cook Supervisor for its correctional facility kitchen in Bristol, FL. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient operations, quality meals, and strict sanitation in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining on-time meal service, portion control, and high-quality presentation while upholding standards in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
