Job summary
Kingfisher Recruiting has an opening for a Controls Engineer at a major manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating automation systems to improve safety and efficiency in an Allen Bradley PLC environment.
The engineer will work with multiple departments on projects from initiation to completion and lead efforts to optimize energy use and uptime. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree in a related field.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider 2+ years.
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems across departments.
- Lead or support manufacturing projects from initiation through completion.
- Improve equipment safety, efficiency, and uptime in an Allen Bradley PLC environment.
- Maintain documentation and FAT activities per safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to meet project goals.
