Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for a southwest Atlanta metro manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.

The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and uptime, with strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership. Relocation assistance is available, with a competitive salary range and a 410K with a 100% match up to 5% of contributions, plus bonus

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree; prefer 5+ years as a controls engineer.
• Experience in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment is required.
• Ability to design modifications to electrical circuitry for upgrades.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or EPLAN for schematics and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic principles is expected.
• Capability to troubleshoot electrical/control systems and validate fixes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Maintenance, Toolroom, Mfg Eng, Tech Team, and Production.
• Electrical troubleshooting on 24V to 480V equipment circuits; diagnose faults.
• Provide controls engineering support for projects including design and commissioning.
• Lead projects coordinating activities with internal teams and external vendors.
• Prepare technical reports, FATs, and documentation for controls work.
• Ensure safety/regulatory compliance according to OHSA and EHS guidelines.
